National Guard ( or even reserve )? Somebody correct me if I’m wrong but I always thought that any special forces candidate had to have at least a few years of exemplary active duty service before they could even try out for any of these duties. then after all training is complete can the go Guard or Reserve.

In the USAF, you can complete Basic and then go to Indoc for PJ’s and CCT’s. I don’t know about other branches.

Depends on how long she was in and she may have already done a tour or two in Iraq or Afghanistan. Since they wont ID we’ll just have to guess. My brother in law did several tours with the Texas Air National Guard. he flew F-16’s.

Nope, you can apply directly to the Green Beret's as a civilian.

Look up Project XRAY (option 18X)
