US Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) made another clumsy television appearance today. On "Fox News Sunday," Duckworth struggled to speak grammatical English and made several more bizarre statements.
Duckworth continues to insist that Russia is paying bounties to members of the Taliban to kill US troops in Afghanistan despite the fact that numerous US intelligence agencies have dismissed the claims as being uncorroborated.
Duckworth also alleged that the Department of Homeland Security is kidnapping ("mostly peaceful") protesters off the streets of Portland, Oregon where the US Court House is under attack. Duckworth doubled down on stupid by stating that universal background checks on gun purchases could have stemmed the violence in Portland. Not sure how restricting gun sales would have halted the use of Molotov cocktails.
Duckworth supported amnesty and a path towards citizenship for illegal aliens. No surprise.
A Democratic ticket of "Clueless Joe" and Duckworth would be a catastrophe.
Since we now live in bizzaro world I’ll just assume she’s now the frontrunner for VP.
She is scum trying to further her political career under the cover of being a disabled Veteran.
The fact that she is an anti-American Leftist who has thrown herself behind entities and causes that aim to undermine the Constitution she took an oath to defend have negated the default respect she was due as a veteran.

but maybe she’s making inane statements in order to secure the Veep nomination, which is, after all, the first step to the White House for her (especially given Biden’s being so obviously on his last legs, alas)
she has to get the Veep nomination in the Crazy Commie party first, before she can (maybe) shift her mouth-gears and start taking sensibly for the general election
But she has an online doctoral degree!
Why Biden would consider choosing a Veep from states viewed as reliably Democratic rather than battleground states seems quite odd. Does his campaign consider California or Illinois to be in play?
As an aside, yesterday I saw a Honda Accord with a duck decoy attached to the hood. This is the same town where I once saw a Corvette with a trailer.
