My daughter-in-law's father was a pilot in the Vietnamese Air Force during the war. He escaped and after a month or two he found his wife in Thailand. He immigrated to the U.S.
He is a Republican with a big 'R'. He hasn't forgotten how Biden and other Democrats left the Vietnamese twisting in the wind.

I live 5 miles from this event, and had to learn about it from the Canadian press, via FR? Sad. But, then again, the Tampa newspaper put the Mideast peace signing last week on page 16.
As always, Free Republic is the best source for news.
