There’s been a bizarre and grisly death at one of Hollywood’s most exclusive and star-studded buildings, Page Six has learned.

We hear a prospective buyer was viewing a multimillion-dollar apartment on one of the highest floors of the 31-story Sierra Towers on Monday afternoon — and, when the Realtor’s back was turned, they climbed over the wall of a balcony and jumped to their death.

Sources say that at least one of the many famous residents of the building saw the body on the ground, and the chilling incident has been the main topic of conversation among neighbors in the elevators.

We’re told the sale was being handled by the real estate firm founded by Paris Hilton’s father, Rick Hilton, although Rick wasn’t showing the apartment when the devastating incident occurred.

The building has been home to David Geffen, Cher, Kelly Osbourne, Sidney Poitier, Sandra Bullock, Lindsay Lohan, Elton John and David Furnish, Britney Spears, Joan Collins and Nikki Haskell, among many others...

Seems like this place would require some proof of ability to pay the rent before letting anyone in the view an apartment.

So ‘buyer’ is in the singular and ‘they’ is in the plural... which is it? So this was a coordinated suicide?

Gravitational acceleration (g)
32.17405 ft/s²

Initial velocity (Vo)
0 ft/s

Height (h)
310 ft

Time of fall (t)
4.39 sec

Velocity (v)
96.3 mph
or
141.24 ft/s

That’s one hell of a ground rush.

Back in my youthful skydiving days, there was a bit of gallows humor that went like this- If you had a malfunction and handled it wrong and found yourself “going in” (fatally impacting into the earth) the requirement called for you to hold up one finger if you were scared and/or two fingers if you liked the ground rush.

Blue skies Black death

9255 Doheny Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90069

YEAR BUILT 1965
FLOORS 32
UNITS 146
HEIGHT 395 ft
AVERAGE $/SQFT $2,098

I might have to adjust my freefall calculation as I had estimated 10’ per floor giving the building a height of 310’. With that being said, the deceased free-faller got a little more flight time and picked up a bit more speed prior to impact.

The deceased did not leap off the roof so the accurate spec.s lie somewhere in between my two posts data benchmarks. Gravity. It's out there.
