Extremist gays using Wikipedia to push their agenda

Posted on 02/13/2006 6:24:53 PM PST by Lou Franklin

I came across an article on Wikipedia called "Societal Attitudes Towards Homosexuality". I noticed that the article had an obvious pro-gay bias and contained fabrications.

Since Wikipedia allows anybody to make changes, I made corrections. My changes were immediately changed back. I made changes again, and my changes were reverted again and then I got a warning against "vandalism".

There are a slew of gay people who use Wikipedia to get their agenda out. They monitor the homosexuality-related pages on Wikipedia and remove any comments that aren't pro-gay. They also remove any middle-of-the road comments, and you can forget about posting anything that is conservative-leaning.

I made a request to get the article removed. The details are here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Societal_attitudes_towards_homosexuality

On Wikipedia you "vote" on whether an article gets removed. Only myself and one other guy voted to remove the article. Everybody else voted to keep it. If you check the bios of the people who voted to keep the article, you can see that almost all of them reference "an interest in GLBT issues".

So these gay extremists control the text of Wikipedia articles. You can't make a change because they just change it back. And you can't get a biased article removed because they vote en mass against it.

So some kid doing research for a high school paper comes along and assumes that what he's reading are facts. This is the most blatant form of left-wing media bias imaginable.

Here's how you do it (to Wikipedia). First of all, write up what it is you wish to say. Put that on a Wordpad or something similar.

Secondly, open a window to a part of Wikipedia where you think that stuff might fit. It does not have to be "germane" ~ simply a place you think it might physically fit. Select a paragraph and insert your material in it.

Repeat the operation several hundred times until you have so many windows open your computer can't handle it.

You then start filing and saving your change until you've gone through all the open windows.

The bad boys who don't want nasty things said of homosexuality will be overwhelmed.

The concept of WikiPedia is insanity to begin with. Truth is never dependent on public opinion.

If WikiPedia existed in the 1400's, the Earth would still be flat.

But it has proper grammar, spelling, sentence and paragraph construction, and strongly supports what i consider conservative principles without hint of trollishmness.

May be a long time lurker who is finally fed up enough to post this.

On Wikipedia you "vote" on whether an article gets removed.

So, what's the issue? You couldn't garner enough votes. If article content gets decided by majority rule, and not on accuracy then Wikipedia is a stupid site. Why bother trying to change it?

The moral of this story is ... Wicked-pedia isn't a legit source to cite when researching the subject of homosexuality. (or any other subject for that matter).

Like you said though, young impressionable skulls of mush won't know any better.
