Jennifer Aniston's sick of sexist Hollywood

Jennifer Aniston is sick of sexist Hollywood scriptwriters.

The former 'Friends' actress is keen to star in more comedy films after the success of her movie 'The Break-Up', in which she appeared with now ex-boyfriend Vince Vaughn.

However, Jennifer insists comedies are never written with a female lead character and she thinks it is time for Tinseltown to have a major rethink.

She said: "There is not a lot out there. Comedies with male leads are such one-man shows. FiView the profile for Ben Stiller on Celebrity Spotlightlms just don't come along very often with equal female funniness."

In her other comedy outings on the big screen Jennifer, 37, has played second fiddle to Ben Stiller in 'Along Came Polly' and Jim Carrey in 'Bruce Almighty'.

Jennifer's relationship with Vince allegedly ended because the pair were arguing over the 'Wedding Crashers' actor's bachelor lifestyle.

And this is from someone who's career is due to her looks, can't be her acting talent.

The first sign of when an actor or actress' career is going down the toilet is when they start complaining about the scripts or "lack of roles" available.

Jen is a very good looking gal, but her acting is quite lame.

Has she ever done anything of value? Just as Ross (Shwimmer?)
only seems to be able to do whiney Ross type rolls, Jen is
of the same mold, IMO.

Jennifer, it's not sexism. Halle, it's not racism. It's ageism--you've both just gotten too old. It's about youth and beauty, not talent. There's younger and prettier waiting in the wings. Bye.

That's one great thing about annoying Hollywood actresses--they get old.

Somehow Reese Witherspoon manages to get leading comedy roles. Could it be because she is younger, cuter and a much better actress? Just a thought.

She's po'd because her husband took that "Pearl story" in which she was supposed to play the lead...and gave it to his shack-up. It belonged to them, jointly, and it appears that he got custody of it.

Yet, while they are the current young chick, they have no problem with the ageism. If she'd said this when she was young, it might have meant more...might have.

There are few female comics worth starring in a movie. Rosie O'Donnell or Whoopi Goldberg? How much of them can you take?

Anyone want to underwrite a Joan Rivers movie?

Lucille Ball was a great comic actress, who did quite well in "sexist Hollywoood", Jennifer.

If you think its time, why don't you bankroll your own film, Toots!

Hey Jen, from the money you've made you could live comfortably for the rest of your life. So shut the fook up!

There are some exceptions to the rule, such as Meryl Streep. But then, Hollywood types can't ignore her training, getting a BA in Drama at Vassar College and an MFA from Yale University. Streep is one of the very few older actresses that are still flooded with offers for movie and stage play roles.

I never really cared for her. I'll take Jennifer Garner, Ellen Barkin & Sandra Bullock over her anyday.

Here is a prime example of someone making an astute observation and not connecting the dots. If she is correct the solution to the problem as she sees it is to write something, hit the keyboard Jen your future is calling.
