Favorite movie monster/ maniac?

Since we're nearing Halloween, I was wondering, for those of us here who are fans of scary movies, who's your favorite movie monster/killer? And, no, Michael Moore, Sean Penn, Al Gore, and Barbra Streisand DON'T count (Though Moore does look like a hideous cross between the Wolfman and the Blob)!

Personally, my favorite would probably be Freddy Krueger.

Always kinda liked Dracula myself. Of course, Jack Nicholson in The Shining was classic too.

The undertaker in the camp horror movie "The Undertaker and Pals".

Do the Japanese films count? My favorite movie baddie is actually a new one to the fray. After seeing The Grudge a few years ago, I can't think of anyone/thing creepier and more malevolent than ghost-Mom Kayako (her creepy little cat-meowing son, Toshio is also a good one). The "money shot" of her climbing down the stairs at the end of the film is hands down one of the most terrifying scenes I can think of.

Old school, though, it would be a tie between Michael Myers and the (first) Alien.

I prefer to think of him in his meaner, more truly evil incarnation of "Red." ;-)

I don't watch horror movies, they do nothing for me. I will say as a child though, I saw an episode of "Outer Limits" (I think that is what is was called) and the episode was about these little spider looking martians with faces on them, and they would crawl all over people and kill them.

This absolutely terrified me, I had nightmares for a year.
Yeeeccchhhh!!!!

Those were the Zantis, exiled to Earth so that we would be the executioners for their race, who could not destroy their own.

I won't tell. It's one of my favorites. Love the scene where Boddicker kills the ambitious young exec.

I'm a big Hammer film fan. I love the Dracula movies with Christopher Lee.
