Despite earlier reports that Rosie ODonnell declined the opportunity to host the Price Is Right because she didnt want to uproot her family from New York City to L.A., the truth is that CBS turned her down. They thought I was too controversial to host the game show, ODonnell said on her R Family Vacations cruise from New York to the Bahamas. I just wanted to gay it up. So what did ODonnell propose? For starters, she wanted to get rid of Barkers beauties in favor of a chorus line of Broadway hunks, confetti, musical bumpers and a much-needed set makeover so the colors actually match! ODonnell admits she was disappointed by the networks decision...

Doesn't appear she had much respect for Barker's work or liked the show as much as she claimed. She just wanted to make the show all about her - no surprise to learn, of course.

Sounds like she would be perfect for the GONG show.
A blond wig, a bag of confetti.....
Who could tell the difference?

From the first day this came up, I figured it was the pig putting out the word she/he/it wanted the job, didn't think it would fly either.

This is but another case of minorities dedicated to dictating to the majority. In a rare moment of clarity, it appears that CBS entertainment gets it, if not CBS news.

Does Rosie think Les Moonves wakes up every morning thinking 'God, I hope I match today'?

Why does she have to push the gay agenda if she had been host of a game show????
Holy smokes, is everything about “the agenda”????
Geez she complained that the news media portrayed her as “loud fat lesbian Rosie”. Does she do anything to try to minimize those aspects of her personality that make people think that way of her?????
Maybe the LOGO network can start their own version of Price is Right, or another game show for Rosie to push the agenda.
I guess Rosie thinks the suits at CBS are homophobic. Obviously they don’t want to celebrate diversity like she does.
To: bannie
I can’t imagine the prizes she would want to give away.

She was way to controversial to do this. She would cause most sane and right wing viewers to tune out.
