He and Caxton are responsible for establishing irregular spelling conventions that bedevil school kids and foreigners learning English to this day.

Tyndale was a hero plain and simple. A pox on those who advocated suppression of the scriptures from the common man.

Umm, Tyndale was killed by agents of Henry Tudor because he opposed Henry’s divorce and remarriage. He was seized in Antwerp, which was in the process of joining the Reformation...
