A ping list is just the screen names of those you wish to “ping” or alert to a certain thread, separated by semi-colons.
It is considered impolite to put individuals on a ping list without their permission (ie. sorta like spam).

Create a list of recipients separated by semi-colons on a desktop stickie or document file. Then cut and paste it in the “To:” line. Then put the word “Ping” in the Reply section.

Sweetie, wasn’t yesterday enough? Your best bet on that 404 message is to google it and see if it is cached, or posted at a different location. If you want an “active repository,” you have to create one yourself.
