Seriously I feel your pain. Im a mess. I dont believe what Im seeing, hearing, feeling etc. I do at times feel like its all gone mad and we are done. I have to step away and get back to life for awhile. Sadly, there is only so much we can really do. Talk, vote, teach etc. God look over us, please.

I agree with the notion that the problem is less Obama than a nation of fools who give him their vote. And because of that fact, there is nothing that you or anyone else extremely concerned about the nation can do. Certainly, we can continue to make our views known and to participate in the political process to the extent that we are able. But this drift has been going on since the 1960’s and we reached a point of no return some years ago. I have no idea how the problem we have made for ourselves will eventually manifest itself in society. Unfortunately, class and ideological violence cannot be ruled out and is a scenario that plays right into the hands of the current administration and its advocates. I do have a feeling of more “sooner than later”, given an apparent escalation of events that have ever-growing consequences of disunity and divisiveness. I would not want to live in a large city these days.
I think you meant to say "You're a great source of encouragement"...so I will respond accordingly: I'm not attempting to encourage, I am attempting to help someone survive in what I see as reality. I could be wrong, I've been wrong before, but this is what I honestly believe.
