Dude, register at the forum. Some of those guys are former factory engineers. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to answer really obscure questions on my F250. This one is good:

“ditching the Ford and buying a Chevy is not a valid suggestion” Why buy the third best? Dodge Ram 2500 would be my selection. If I could make the “best of the best” selection, it would be a Ford 250 Body, a Cummins turbo Diesel; and 6 speed Allison Transmission.

About 3 weeks ago my husbands ‘09 Ford F150 p/u ran away with us on a busy city street. It accelerated by its self while he had the brake all the way down. This was not the case of floor mats causing the problem. We ran into the back of a car before he could get it stopped, even with it in neutral it continued to lunge ahead. It happen again the same day and after that we called a wrecker and had it towed, no damage the second time. Bye bye Ford hello Cheve.
