Paris Hilton Evacuated After Knife Found On Plane

LOS ANGELES (AP) — It was a scary moment for Paris Hilton: A knife on a Hawaii-bound jetliner delayed her flight out of Los Angeles.

Hilton posted two tweets Tuesday about how she and 203 other passengers aboard a Delta Air Lines Boeing 757 were ordered off before takeoff at Los Angeles International Airport. Flight 1197, which also had a crew of eight, was heading for Maui.

It turned out to be a knife left behind by the catering crew (in the first class cabin, no doubt). I sure hope this wasn't too traumatic for poor Paris.

I’m baffled as to why she would lower herself to take a commercial flight in the first place. Are things with the economy really that bad out there?

What a nation of sissies we have become, afraid of a little knife. I always used to carry my Swiss Army Knife on-board, to fight off the Muslim terrorists if need be. Now, everyone’s quivering and cowering, and I won’t fly anymore in this “brave new world.”

Many airports do not require airport employee's to go through security coming to work.

So, it should be no surprise that a knife is found aboard an aircraft left behind by the cleaning crew.

The brilliant minds that are in charge of protecting the nation from terrorist attacks figure that because they are not flying out on the aircraft they are no threat.

See, told ya they are just simply brilliant.

I stupidly forgot to leave my pocket knife at home last year when flying down to Florida, and the crack TSA staff also missed it; so it's a good thing Ms. Hilton wasn't on that flight. (Although no one really knew about it.) I mailed the knife home to myself.
