I remember. Just about every boy at my junior high had a pair of them. The skinny ones looked like they were walking around in loudly colored casts.

Fighting over TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR sneaks?

What are these people nuts? Or perhaps they are all "Rich Republicans?"

I might spend $100-125 on some good shoes, but the day I spend (and I can afford it) more than $30 bucks for a pair of tennis shoes is right after I have a glass or two of the Lib's Kool Aid!

I searched and did not see it which surprised me. I always use the minimum exerts from most stories, especially sources like DMN, so maybe that was the problem.

That’s the plainest, most subdued-looking Air shoe I’ve ever seen. Normally Air Jordans are weird neon colors and patterns, but that one actually looks, dare I say it, good.

Not $175 a pair good, mind you. But good.

Rich Republicans for sure.

Or maybe spending Rich Republicans’ tax money after it has been transferred to their govt debit cards?

Mesquite (TX) police use pepper spray MG-42s to quell clamor for new Air Jordan shoes at Town East Mall.

Wishful thinking, I guess. I cannot understand (or empathize with) the sort of idiots who stampede for things like shoes. I avoid mob scenes whatever the deal, whatever the cost, whatever the product.

It may be cliché, but the more I know of people, the more I love my cat.

Reminds me of the old days, and Red Ball Jets. Those were the high-top canvas sneakers. We used to say “Run your fastest, jump your highest and fall your hardest”, LOL.
