The Military's Secret Shame (homosexual rape of men)
Newsweek ^ | April 8, 2011 | Staff

Posted on 04/08/2011 8:23:18 PM PDT by SaraJohnson

What happened to Jeloudov is a part of life in the armed forces that hardly anyone talks about: male-on-male sexual assault. In the staunchly traditional military culture, it’s an ugly secret, kept hidden by layers of personal shame and official denial. Last year nearly 50,000 male veterans screened positive for “military sexual trauma” at the Department of Veterans Affairs, up from just over 30,000 in 2003. For the victims, the experience is a special kind of hell—a soldier can’t just quit his job to get away from his abusers. But now, as the Pentagon has begun to acknowledge the rampant problem of sexual violence for both genders, men are coming forward in unprecedented numbers, telling their stories and hoping that speaking up will help them, and others, put their lives back together. “We don’t like to think that our men can be victims,” says Kathleen Chard, chief of the posttraumatic-stress unit at the Cincinnati VA. “We don’t want to think that it could happen to us. If a man standing in front of me who is my size, my skill level, who has been raped—what does that mean about me? I can be raped, too.”

It’s only going to get worse since those two rump ranger benny boys Gates and Mullin got DADT repealed.

I’m very surprised that liberal Newsweek magazine is publishing a story about homosexual rape in the military. Generally the MSM does not report anything which reflect badly on the homosexual community.

That said, it’s a serious issue, and the perpetrators should be severely dealt with.

How long do you think they have had this story? Do you think they held it off until the DADT survey went through? Do you think they held it until the promotion of gays was done?
Probably.

Newsweek is generally untrustworthy. Sadly, however, this story seems accurate. I have heard of soldiers who asked to leave early were taken to the showers. Very sad.

Yes it is, on many levels. I’m kind of surprised that Newsweek is reporting it.

There were always stories of Gay Solders drugging others so that they can have their way with them.

The rumors circulated constantly, but never able to confirm any of them.

One of the rumors involved a young seaman, petty officer 1st, and a chief petty officer.

There was a closed captain’s mast and the official story was they all did drugs. We know what happened to the petty officer and the chief, they landed up an a correction custody unit but the seaman disappeared.

Again, never was able to confirm anything, but the rumor was something happened to the seaman that he didn’t want any part of.

Honestly, this DADT repeal bothered me because it gives special rights to homosexuals not given to heterosexuals. For anyone who has been in the Navy since tail hook, they know looking at a female the wrong way can land you on a report for sexual harassment.

For anyone who is a civilian, they can’t possibly understand how strict the military is once it gets its marching orders. There isn’t a rational comparison to civilian standards, they think you are fibbing when you tell them stories but you were there and experienced it.

Petraous gave us a heads up when he condemned the American who threatened to burn a Koran in protest of the Victory Mosque.

They have gone Muslim.

It looks like gay rapists had protection to rape soldiers before the repeal of DADT. If you read the story, you will see that when the men reported the rape they were berated for being the cause of it or ignored. Left in their positions, they were raped and abused over and over again.

This fits with the changes in character we have seen for the darkside of our police officers, too. And prisons...many Americans think prision rape is soooo funny.

The effect rape has on men is much worse that it is for women raped by men. Given there are so many victims (50,000), you know it’s not just a passing problem. The military has adopted the prison rape ethic. Character has fallen into the gutter.

No wonder they hate Christians and adore Muslims now!

“This is upsetting.”

It’s not upsetting, it’s Bull Squish!

Newsweak never met a negative image of the military that it didn’t like.

That is what I thought, too. If anything Newsweek would usually ignore gay rape.

The other thing that is confusing is that they claim the rapists are usually “heterosexual.” If you are driven to have sex with men and with women that would make you bi-sexual. You can’t be a heterosexual man and be raping men.

As a man, I always preferred the heterosexual rape of men... except by fat women... and cougars...

Uhhh...no its not. I've been in 24 years and one of my additional duties for my Wing is I am a Victim Advocate for the SAPR program.

It is a growing problem...and so are the number of prosecutions. It isn't as widespread as male-female SA but it exists.

By all means, let’s encourage faggots to join the military. And to be Boy Scout leaders. Heck, I even saw a fag on Glocktalk talk about how he and his queer lover recently adopted two boys (in the state of Oregon). And some of the idiots on Glocktalk applauded it like the fools they are.

That makes perfect sense. You should be an expert sexual abuse counselor. ;)

I believe the UCMJ permits field execution for such cases in active combat zones.

Uniform Code of Military Justice, read it years back. Anyone who can find this provision on line today is a better man than me. Somewhere in article 77 or 120.
