When he was in the final stages of cancer and dying and not in full control of his senses he said to me, “Sara, swear you won’t let me be raped.” I swore to him that would happen over my dead body and even arranged guards - contracted nurses and family to watch over him every moment until he died.

I understand how you are upset. I can’t spend more than a brief time on a thread like this or I feel like jumping off the stern end of a ship at full speed ahead.
What leftists do is take a grain of truth (man on man rape is happening in the military without proper response from brass) and turns it into a nightmare of “solutions” that promises more of the same abuse.
I know that Leftists don’t cover nor do they obect to men and boys being raped my men. They are telling you about this so that they can say “The rape of men in the military was happening before DADT.” That is because they know the truth about male on male rape will come out and they don’t want their social ememies blaming it on the repeal of DADT.
For you and me, we are stuck with an uncomfrontalbe truth that must be addressed. Men are raping men in the military on a large scale. The brass has adopted society’s carelessness for male prisoners who we all know are raped by men in prison. that attitude can be sumed up by saying “Ha ha! You deserve to be gang raped!”
Often just knowing something evil is happening is enough without following the gorey details that make you lose sleep. You will know when the balls of male and male rape are being busted and you will support that because, as a good and honorable man, you don’t want that evil attacking innocence in the military. Christians are a blockade to this spirit of rape and abuse so when we see the military move towards humanism’s banning of morals, you know to raise hell because you know where it has lead - the unpunished and even celebrated rape of targeted male soldiers. 50,000 of them.
It’s only going to get worse since those two rump ranger benny boys Gates and Mullin got DADT repealed.
They are admitting it to set a benchmark. That is, male on male rape was the equivalent of prison male on male rape - before DADT was repealed. They will be able to say “the rape of men in the military existed before DADT was repealed.”
Otherwise, they would have ignored these male victims of homo/bi sexual rape in the modern military. They ignore that boys are being raped in the public schools right now. It is going to get much worse for soldiers once the sexually aggressive homos are let out of the closet and it is politically correct discrimination for the brass to object.

It is a growing problem...and so are the number of prosecutions. It isn’t as widespread as male-female SA but it exists.
I have two brothers in the family who were victims of rape in the boyscouts. It was a ring of adult male perverts who were expert in manipulating and injuring them. The damage to these males is way beyond the damage of a woman bieng raped by a man or gang raped by men.
It is hard to convey to you the nature of the damage to males who have been raped other than to tell you that it is a soul level injury that can never be repaired. If women who have been raped by men have a dozen of demons following them through life; men who are victims of homo or bi rape are haunted by legions.

Also meant to add, the UCMJ normally specifies that the respective penalty be determined after a finding of guilt by Courts Martial. This doesn’t list it as one of the possible results of a CM; there is no requirement of any legal action other than by a commanding officer’s discretion.
The article give the witness of abused male soldiers that the discretion of the commanding officers was not ignore the rape. I agree about secrets in an Army unit. I got out after being an enlisted guy in the Army for 20+ years in 2004. I never heard anything about stuff like this in the Army. 50,000 guys? I also cannot imagine a CO telling a victim of something like this that it must have been his fault when he reported it. I call pure BS on it.

Yes. These incidents are kept quiet to protect the dignity of the victim and to protect the suspect from being assaulted. No Commanding Officer wants to destroy moral on his ship so keeping these types of incidents quiet is a large part of the consideration. That is also one of the reasons that Captains Mast is used more often than a courts martial, it allows the Captain to get rid of the sailor quicker.
Sexual trauma will get you how much a month from the VA? These stories seem so contrived, however the sexual assault is now defined so broadly that the VA will be paying out billions to gals that were deployed and supposedly assaulted.
No, I had no trouble believing the Maj. Nidal thing. There is no way in the world I believe this. I have heard of incompetent and unstable servicemembers getting a pass for unacceptably crazy or stupid behavior before (see Major Metzger). I never heard a whisper about stuff like this going on in my entire time in the Army. I work around soldiers and spoke with a couple today and they did not believe it either. The easiest explanation is that Newsweek is full of it in this case.

No where did I even intimate such a position. You are ludicrous in this allegation.
Many years ago, I, as a SSGT at an Army base had to investigate and document allegations about a certain Spec.4 regarding drug use and homosexual attacks on some fellow Soldiers. He was a rather large Black person and very 'street-smart.' His preferred victims were white Pvts, E-1's & E-2s who were new to the command and looking for some weed. He would befriend them, do a few 'favors' for them, get them as regulars for his weed connection and then have his way with them sexually.
He was busted and sent to Leavenworth. IMO, and that of quite a few others involved, NCO Justice with an AWOL and "dissapeared" report would have been more acceptable. But we were all professionals and worked within the system to remove this scum. Reports back from Leavenworth were that he did not adjust well there. He was no longer the big-fish. But he did adapt nicely to becoming someones bitch.
