Mrs Palin has repeatedly stated that she has has not made up her mind, is she lying?

Who really cares? She is a RINO, big time. Why? she accepted the VP position from McLame. Only a RINO, deep and true would do that.

Reading of the obvious, Sarah isn’t even showing interest in running. Not a glimmer. No fundraising, no organization, no exploratory committee. Only a shoe-in can do so little and expect so much and she is no shoe-in. It’s starting to trickle down to her base and she needs to say so for their sake.

Read some goofy report that she might run for senator in AZ.
Who knows?

If Sarah’s a RINO, this site is a virtual stampede! If Sarah doesn’t run, Daniels, Pawlenty or Romney will probably prevail. Barf me! Personally, I’d be for Bolton or Bachmann, but neither will win.

Simple:
Vote FOR the best candidate you can in the Primary.
Vote AGAINST Obama in the General.

If you put all your eggs in one basket you will be devastated should the basket get dropped.

I agree. All we can do is take a good look at those that have declared they are running. Otherwise is a waste of time.

If no one catches fire, then we have an interesting situation. I do believe that this time in republican primaries the votes are apportioned. It is not winner take all. Not sure if that applies to all the states.

We could end up with a brokered convention with no candidate having sufficient votes to get the nomination.

If that is the case I foresee Christie getting drafted.

Personally, ( apart from Sarah Palin or Bachmann ) I have had it with politicians. We need a new start with a non-politician like Cain, or who knows who else might show up if the convention gets brokered.

To me, Sarah’s the only worthwhile “egg in the basket” who could win the nomination. Of course, we all know that Huntsman and Daniels are the candidates who cause the Obots tremors. *choke* Bob

I realize you misread my post, but we have no way of knowing if she wouldn’t still be rich and famous.

But are you saying she “sold out” for money?

“Well I might go the other way, if Cain does not run I’ll likely support Palin. If he drops out, I’ll likely support Palin.

I am not however convinced at this point in time that she can beat Ubama.”

Maybe someone worse than Carter will give us someone better than Reagan, because the Fair tax wasn’t around for Reagan to embrace, but I believe he would have.

I keep looking at the “frontrunners”, and thinking - NONE OF THE ABOVE.

We need a candidate who is:

Not an elitist

Not from Harvard

Not a politician

Not an insider

Not part of the “establishment”

Finally we have our man.
Herman Cain IS “none of the above”

The only politician I’d consider is one who gives the establishment heartburn.

I’m breathing a sigh of relief, believing that we may have said enough prayers for our country to be spared, for now.

It looks to me like the ‘establishment’ is going to be in for a lot of suprises this time around.

1) I do think Palin is running. She's just not doing it the way the establishment wants or expects (might I say--needs?) a Republican to run. This is quite in line with the general pattern of her political life from the time she ran for the Wasilla city council. Obviously, this non-campaign campaign makes a lot of people extremely nervous--and not just on the "other" side. Hell, it's making her supporters extremely nervous.

2) If for some reason she does not run, then I'll be for the candidate who most looks like they have the intent and the ability to tear Washington, D.C. to the swampy ground it was built on, and then start over. Personally, I think Palin's probably the best hope, but I don't think she's the only hope. Cain and West immediately come to mind as alternatives, to me. I might even vote for RON PAUL!!!11!!1!1!!! before Romney or some of the other Establishment Republicans that the Media-Progressive Complex is trying to foist on us (*coughMitchDanielscough*). But I'm keeping my electoral powder dry for now, even though I'm an avowed Palinista.

(And I might even be willing to be convinced about Daniels, although I admit I'll be an awfully tough sell. Romney is right out for me, though. I'll vote Libertarian, or just sit out the election (and maybe move all my money to Chile and buy a house there or something) before Romney. This constitutes Fair Warning to the Establishment Republicans.)

I do not think Sarah Palin sold out for money when she accepted McCain’s offer to be his VP nominee.

I think it was an honorable decision and that she did a good job at it.

I do think that had Sarah not been the 2008 GOP candidate for VP then she would now likely be nowhere near as rich and famous as she is, though I am not suggesting that this is why she did it.

I agree. I like West. Also like Rubio.

Breitbart really wants to see Cain / West ticket -
just to tick off the PC crowd if nothing else.

Anybody have any ideas on other non-politicians that could take on The One ?

any Republican politician that doesn’t meet my standards is a Rino. Which is the reason most folks seem to give when declaring that “so and so” is a Rino. So I’ll let it be mine.
