To: Sacajaweau
Freezer pickles

4 cups thinly sliced cukes

2 cups thinly sliced onions

1 TSP canning salt

1 TBSP water

Let stand overnight in fridge

Next Day

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup cider vinegar

1 TSP WHOLE pickling spice

1 TSP celery seeds

Mix with cukes and onions and put in containers.

Freeze at once

Sometimes I use the little plastic snack bags...sometimes lunch bags...sometimes small plastic containers.

I love taking out a snack bag for me alone...

When they're still a bit icey, they're awesome.Double it if you wish.

I was going to do something similar but she wanted no onions and canned. She grew up on refrigerator dills.
