Due to a birth certificate screw-up my original New York State birth certificate was found in the New York State Archive Dept of Vital Statistics. It had my family`s Italian name on it, not the Americanized version which all my siblings have on their birth certificates which were all changed except mine in 1948, omitted by accident. Even though I went through life with the Americanized name, not until I applied for Social Secuirty when I was 62 did the screw-up become evident.

Due to 9-11 NY State tightened up its Dept. of Vital Statics Dept. rules for ID`s. Because I had a different last name from my siblings, the Social Security Administration and the State of New York wanted to know if I was adopted. They could not establish who I was even though my father and mother had used both the Italian and Americanized names. Thus for 7 years I was denied Social Security retirement benefits,

In order to obtain the benefits, I had to pay the SS Administration $41,000 fine for using a false name, and denial of Medicare until the 7th year [age 69]. I am denied to this day a NY State driver`s license or ID card coz I have no paper trail back to grade school.

How can Obummer ever pass such scrutiny as I did whose family on my mother`s side has been here for 350 years?

Also, look at my post above and how WRONG you are about the first document being a "certificate of live birth". Go look it up. You'll see it was a "certification of live birth", a different document under Hawaii law at the time even when Certificates of Live Birth were entered in the resister directly from hospital records.
