Princess Diana museum to close, contents go to sons William, Harry

The museum's collection includes 28 dresses, two tiaras, priceless family jewelry, along with pictures, letters and home movies.

“It will close worldwide in August 2014,” a spokesman for Diana's brother told the Telegraph.

Diana's family members opened the museum at their Althorp estate in 1998, a year after she died in a Paris car crash.

How quickly did she fade from public memory and affection after that massive outpouring of hysterical public grief. Sic transit gloria mundi.

Something tells me the “fade” is a welcome respite for the powers that be.

Having the nephew of a premier arms dealer marry into the family perhaps might have been difficult to keep out of the public’s mind - even with the tabloid distraction machine working overtime.

what makes yu say she faded, bs she has not faded at all, now they are trying to remake that cow Charles married into a duchess, she is a lying thieving homewrecker and does not deserve to have what she has

Oh, wait. This isn’t the Diana museum that closed three years ago after after opening in the failed Roy Rogers Museum?
