Na. Never. I have lost all hope. Although there are the occasional people who who remind us that there might be hope for us.

Ya. Pretty cool stuff. The origins of humanity. Modern technology can help us connect the dots.

When you consider how long human beings were stone age technology, and how many are still stone age mentality, it is easy to see how either Divine or alien intervention was necessary.

Maybe I’m being overly cynical, even paranoid, but I can’t help but imagine that this will be used to somehow justify PC policies.

For the time being I think we're more of a cross between sheep and lemmings.

Fascinating article. Thanks for the post, BenLurkin!

The background shown in the article of the strife between the planters and the hunter-gatherers brought this wonderful gem of truth from “Oklahoma” to mind. ——

Let’s sing it together:

“OHHHH the Farmer and the Cowman should be friends....yes the Farmer and the Cowman should be friends...!”

[Oh no...I’ve created an ear worm and I’ll be singing that now all day! LOL!]

Do skeletons have DNA?

Similar to the laser, DNA technology has found uses very far afield from its original discovery. I wonder when (not if) the next such discovery will come or if it is already here and we just don't recognize it YET. Personally, I still have hopes for 'cold fusion' but that has a way to go yet!

Do skeletons have DNA?

After death, DNA degrades like the rest of the corpse but we are teasing DNA reconstructions out of million+ year old remains. So the answer is obviously YES!

Ya. Discoveries are often right in plain sight.

I am peronally interested in more recent information such as being able to trace my ancestory back 1000 + years.

Also, if you go back far enough, it all traces back to an origin. A single person (mother or father) or a small group of people — Adam and Eve. Reminds us that we are all related and have a common ancestor.

Fusion. They can’t seem to make it work (cold or H-He). IMO Fusion is necessary for the next step for humanity. Like steam power was to the industrial revolution. Massive amounts of cheap energy. Heck, we are going to need lots of power if we are all going to be driving electric cars. It’ll also come in handy for space travel.
