Or in 2090, where it will be 12:34:56 7/8/90 twice.

As a recovering computer programmer, I was proud to prove way back in 1999 that my programs were immune from that dreaded ‘Y2K’ bug because I coded all of my dates as YYYYMMDD because IT ALWAYS SORTED CORRECTLY! Some of that code (snippets) is still operational for a couple major organizations so I must have done something right! The lovely thing was that it was readily adaptable by European and even Indian programmers ... which is why I am a former programmer. Can anyone say ‘Dilbert?’
Still, for that format, there is no chance for a consectutive sequential at any time.

That is not a palindrome. You would need an extra “1” at the end for it to work.

Someone taught me that trick years ago and I use it to name files so that they can be sorted. I don’t do programming, I just try to herd some to achieve what I need.

I always renamed my photos in that format. Makes finding them a lot easier. (I would shoot about 700,000 pictures in a year.)
