Well, since homosexuals are all the rage nowadays, and sophisticated folks think they're just 'normal', those other folks have to do SOMETHING to be different enough to shock people!
These are not, I'm afraid, people exposed to the cruelties of the real world, they're people who have been protected from them for so long by so many that they honestly think it's cruel not to continue to play "let's pretend" forever. Normal people - oh, there, I've used the "N" word - gave that up about age 7. Here's a clue - every cell in your body contains what you are, and if it contains a Y chromosome, you're a male. Fundamentally. You can slosh your endocrine system with chemicals, you can maybe someday even change your genetic expression, but you're still a male. Deal with it.
