Too bad they don’t provide real cream for the coffee. “Edible oil product” just doesn’t cut it.

Love their hash browns. I think Phil Mickelson was actually looking into buying the whole Waffle House chain some years back.

That's reminiscent of Roy Mcavoy in Tin Cup.

I just put in a request at the Waffle House that they put a location in Seattle or Porkland.

I am very pleased he has won a second Master’s Tournament! From the beginning of this one I was hoping he’d do it. He is a real gentleman and down to earth guy! Good for him!

Loves me some Waffle House! It was my designated hangout during finals week in college. Where else could you get a cup of hot tea and an order of fried cheese sticks at 3 in the morning?

Think it was a subtle but paid celebrity endorsement?

WA state isn’t a Waffle House kinda culture. I’ve lived in both places.

Even Eastern WA and Idaho isn’t. You start drifting into Eastern Montana and then I can see it.

Humility; lack of pretense; good, satisfying comfort food that isn’t ORGANIC or FAIR TRADE; hiring ex-cons to run them - none of that is the PacNW.

Too much new money, arrogance, progressivism, and hypocrisy.

Even in the sticks, you get the new money types buying high-end ranch set-ups and playing like they are country.

No, just a “man of the people” moment. Don’t get me wrong, I watched the Masters and pulled for him. Doubt that he’s a marketing genius.

Huddle House is better
Very similar histories. Waffle House started in Avondale GA in 1955 and Huddle House in Decatur GA in 1964. Both close to my home when I was in grade school. Last time I ate at the Huddle House was around 1978 and I ran into a high school classmate in there, 11 years after we graduated. We do tend to stick to what we know. As for Waffle House last time I ate there was yesterday. I dated a Waffle House waitress/cook after college for while. Fringe benefit was free breakfast.

That’s EXACTLY why they need to be here! It’d be the best way to give the bird to the hippies!

While I agree, they can bring in a few Chick fil A’s too. Man I miss those.

I wish they would come to my state too,

I’ve written to them several times to request. I think it would do really really well here.
