You bet. I took my “older” car in for repair a few years ago and they gave me a rental. Not only took me forever to find the switch for the high beam but I had to ask how to get the car out of park. Never quite understood why you have to push the brake pedal in to move the transmission to drive or reverse. Grandson laughed at me because I drove around for two days with the rear wiper going. Couldn’t figure out how to turn it off.

I just see no need for all this stuff on a car. People are so lazy and spoiled.

Yup, it was next to the larger Manual washer fluid pedal ('68 Dart)

Why, yes, Veggie Todd, I do remember the dimmer switch on the floor. And, I remember being frustrated beyond belief when I acquired a British sports car with the dimmer on the turn signal stem. Stomped that left foot panel for months...

Yup. And vacuum operated windshield wipers that slowed down when you gunned the engine, as the headlights brightened from the generator (NOT an alternator). At least we didn't have mechanical brakes...

Heh, I remember when the starter was on the floor next to the accelerator pedal, and you had to double clutch between gears.
