I would like to believe that. But like Tom hanks they don’t have the balls to stand up for their true beliefs so eff them.

He even wished a troop “Merry Christmas” and shook his hand towards the end.
I never found him funny at all, at any time in his career. Just my opinion. But then again there very few comedians who don’t just irritate and annoy me.
Everything you wrote was true.
He was however, one of the biggest supporters of our troops and the USO. He was often the first to go out and support them.
His politics aside, he was a great funny man and we owe him thanks for supporting our troops in ways you and I could not.
'Tis why I donate to the USO, and why entertainers who are a part of the USO have my respect.
