That’s just stupid.

The best movie score of all time is “King Kong.”

Absurd!

I don’t even have an idea what LOTR music is! (No, I have not watched all of them, but music sticks with me. If I don’t recall it, it could not have been that memorable. Like “Man of Steel”.)

.....

Braveheart
Gettysburg
Last of the Mohicans

Awesome soundtracks. Put some of these to shame. And so on...

If anyone has LOTR The Two Towers extended version, listen to the music at the end. It goes on for about an hour, with the credits rolling, and it’s fantastic.

I like 2001: A Space Odyssey. Most of the music was not written for the film, but it matches perfectly.

2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY - From Earth to the Moon - Blue Danube

Aram Khachaturian - Gayane: Adagio

The soundtrack to Last of the Mohicans directed by Mann in the 90's is the best movie soundtrack, ever.

I agree that LOTR is the best. I’d put Gettyburg in second, last of the Mohicans in third, Braveheart in fourth, Gods and Generals in fifth.
