It’s called “good sportsmanship”. Pity it’s so rare in pro ball these days.

That’s because in modern era NFL any good sportsmanship is completely up to the individual, there isn’t any element of self policing from other players. Thus fruity celebration prancing and chest slapping displays over even routine plays. The cool players couldn’t police them even if they wanted to, there’s a million camera angles and instant replay and modern officiating and each game means so much to the successful season.
