Dr. Timothy Lang removed the lever Wednesday during a 45-minute operation. Lampitt, now 75, is recovering at home.
He was moving concrete blocks a few weeks ago when the arm began to hurt for the first time.

I have to laugh... I saw this posted a few days ago... but seeing the headline the first thing I thought was, “Well, if they are taking the turn signal off the column, where are they gonna put it? First they take the highbeam switch off the floor... now this?!? Great.”
