Show me a 'treaty' that has been ratified by the requisite number of US Senators and I might be worried.

First, ratification is not the threshold you think it is. There have been treaties ratified with no quorum, no record of a committee vote, and no recorded vote. The standard of Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution is "two thirds of the Senators present," not two thirds of the Senate.

Second, the practice of the United States is to abide by treaties upon signature pursuant to the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, as a matter of "customary international law." The Senate never ratified the Vienna Convention.

The bottom line is that there will be real consequences to Zero's signature on this unconstitutional treaty. The entire system of international law in this country is illegal. You can learn more about that here.

There still has to be a quorum. With a Republican leader, this should not be a problem, IMO. I’d be more worried with a “Reid” in charge.

While I believe he (Obama and Kerry and all of them) is completely lawless, it won’t carry the weight of law with me and millions of gun owners. They can come and get them.
