A Chinese attorney who escaped house arrest in his home country for his efforts to protect women from forced abortion for violating the government’s one-child policy said on Thursday that in the 35 years since the practice hundreds of millions of babies have been killed.
“Over the past 35 years, China has killed a total of 360 to 400 million young lives as a result of its inhumane and violent birth control policies,” Chen Guangcheng, now senior fellow at Catholic University of America said at a hearing of the Congressional Executive Commission on China.
“During a six-month period of 2005, more than 130,000 forced abortions and/or sterilizations took place in Linyi city alone,” Guangcheng said in his prepared remarks. “More than 600,000 family members suffered during this period. This brutality and these crimes against women and their families have wrought irrevocable physical, spiritual and psychological harm.”
In his prepared remarks, Guangcheng provides graphic details of forced abortions, including late-term abortions where children who survive are then killed by drowning or breaking their neck. …

The worst is yet to come for Red China. There is a serious male/female imbalance due to the desire a male heir. Tens of millions of Chinese men will never have a wife. I wonder if Red China understands the enormous consequences that will have on social unrest.
This is one of the reasons I tell my daughter, adopted from China, that her birth mother was probably very brave. We can never know her circumstances, but an abortion would have been easy to get in China. My daughter was born in a very poor, rural area and because giving up your child for adoption is illegal in China, someone, most likely her mother risked her freedom by dropping my daughter off outside of a police station where she would be found. They brought her to an orphanage. A year later she was ours.
And it’s not only abortion— many (mostly) baby girls or boys with handicaps are also abandoned in dumps, drowned or killed in other ways. There was a documentary on of an older lady that lived in a run down shack near the local dump. The documentary was about how many children she had saved when she heard cries coming from the trash heap. People were just throwing out baby girls!

My prayers are for those discarded children...and for their parents, who had no other option.

They solved that by abducting women from neighboring countries. Rather sickening solution.

Tariffs and economic threats may be blunt tools, but they are the kind of aggressive tactics necessary to get the attention of the CCP regime, which respects only power and money. ...
