LITTLE ROCK (KATV) -
More than 150 people have been turned away from going to Little Rock's Movies in the Park. Wednesday will be the first event since school was let out which might result in more people being turned away. Effective this year, kids under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian with them.
Keeping kids occupied can be quite a task. Meghan Heubach is the mother of two young boys. Heubach told Channel 7 News trying to enjoy events like Movies in the Park is already hard enough, without the added pressure of unattended children.
“That's an understatement. It's not easy to keep them still for a very long period of time,” Heubach said. “I think it's a fantastic idea absolutely because I feel like maybe when they're in kind of like their free time without their parents they might act up a little bit and that might not be appropriate behavior.”
Diana Long, Director of River Market Operations for Little Rock Conventions and Visitors Bureau said the change was necessary. For those under the age of 18 who attend with their older friends, Long said that won't cut it.

I’m in Little Rock. Good policy. They should go further and not allow saggy pants or ANY gang colors or codes (sideways hat, etc)
