At lunchtime today, I leave the building and go out for a walk because, well I need some exercise and I don't want the blood pooling in my legs causing blood clots from sitting on my butt all day.
I work in the South Loop of Chicago near the Fed Reserve, CBOT and the Dirksen Federal Plaza which is just across the street, outside my office window.
There's this nice "visit Thailand" exhibit going on in Dirksen Federal Plaza just across the street, so I walk over there to check it out.
As I'm walking to the entrance, some young lady, probably early 20's comes up to me and asks if I'll sign a petition for "gay rights in the workplace."
Oh, it was just HER lucky day now wasn't it?
So I ask her if she can name 5 rights that gays allegedly don't have in the workplace, I'll sign her petition. She went from having a happy face, to a confused face.
So I then said if she couldn't name 5, could she name three rights that gays allegedly don't have in the workplace. More confused face from an otherwise delightful young lady.
After waiting about 15 seconds, I said if three was too many because she couldn't count that high, could she name ONE right that gays don't allegedly have in the workplace today.
She couldn't name a single one. So I asked her why she was gathering signatures for an issue she knew nothing about, nor could cite any legitimate reason why anyone should sign her petition.
She began mumbling and stuttering. I moved on and continued my walk.
I came across three more young ladies like her during my walk around Dirksen Federal Plaza. All three asked me to sign their petition for "gay rights in the workplace" and all three got the same questions that the first young lady did, and all three failed to cite a single reason why anyone should sign their petition for "gay rights in the workplace."
The last young lady got an extra question however that the other three didn't. After she failed to answer my question of naming a single right gays don't have in the workplace today, I asked her if she knew what a useful idiot was.
Blank stare.
This is what's wrong with the younger generation: they question NOTHING. They seemingly assume that whenever someone claims their rights "don't exist" that it's true, and they must then do something to write a perceived (and non-existant) wrong.
This country is in decline because the younger generations have lost the ability to apply critical thinking, logic and reason to anything. They don't question anything, they accept everything they're told as truth, never bothering to stop and question or seek out the facts for themselves.
Yes they are "young skulls full of mush" and it appears they're staying that way.
How do we fight this? Do what I did: Don't let their petition gatherers go un-challenged. Question why they're collecting signatures to enact special rights for gays in the workplace, that no other group will have. Watch the looks on their faces as you question them to name 5,3, or even a SINGLE perceived "right" that gays don't already have in the workplace today.
We need to fight this one at the grass roots. Take their useful idiots away from them and let the gay rights zealots expose their true agenda.
It's time to take a stand. If you're not fighting against the big gay agenda, you are complicit in endorsing it.

Sue her for sexual harassment. Forcing you to discuss gay sexual practices is the same as sexually molesting you.
Still, the reason this country is F'ed in my opinion is because critical thinking is apparently non-existant in anyone under 40.
Certainly these twenty-something young ladies had no clue about why they were gathering signatures. I guess it's nothing more than a perceived societal wrong that motivates the twenty something's to action.
This country is so screwed.
I used to find it to be an amusing sport, now it just depresses me as I realize why this country is screwed with people like these four walking the planet, consuming our air, and (God forbid) procreating.....

I work with more than 10 gay/lesbian individuals. And one transgender in transition. They all get paid according to their job description. They get the same breaks and lunches.
And nobody picks on them.
And they don’t piss and moan about being treated differently.
Because they aren’t treated differently.
