Big difference.
Static electricity comes from an excess of electrons building up on an insulator, until it finds a conductor to provide a pathway for those electrons to return to a zero charge state, i.e. earth ground, with you being the ‘conductor’............................

Help me out with this one Red.

If this creates a flow of electrons without the use of a ferromagnet, doesn’t the flow of electrons radiate the same magnetic property?

In other words, don’t you still end up with the same effect, the presence of a magnetic field to interrupt delicate electron flow in other circuits?

If I’m completely on the wrong planet on this let me know.
