If you're one of those people who hates missing the end of breakfast hours at McDonald's, hang on just a little longer: the chain says its breakfast menu will be available all day starting Oct. 6.

Items like Egg McMuffins, hotcakes, sausage burritos, fruit 'n yogurt parfaits, hash browns and biscuits will be available anytime, although the exact menu will vary in different markets. The company said core items like the Big Mac, McNuggets and fries will still be available at all of its locations.

Breakfast items are the only good things they have on their menu these days. I can at least trust that the eggs came from a chicken. I’m not to confident about the source of their “beef” though...

I want two Egg McMuffins for lunch maybe twice a month—especially if they can price it at US$3.50 for two. :-)

The breakfast foods are the only things I like from McDonalds - so this is good news to me as well. I also love the Egg McMuffins, but the big breaks fasts are wonderful and filling - as well as affordable.

So now they serve breakfast anytime? Ok I’d like some French Toast during the Renaissance.

Oh, hey, thanks for clarifying that. Did someone think this meant McDonald's was going to stop selling any other type of food except breakfast?

Good. McDonald’s breakfast is the only thing they cook these days that’s palatable.

Can I get a Big Mac with egg patties and sausage patties instead of what they lovingly call “beef”?

I’m pretty sure the last burger I had from McDonald’s was in the late 1980s. More so a lack of desire than anything else. The few times I have been to a McD’s has been for breakfast items and the $1 coffee. This appears to be a good move.

I don’t know but where those items available during the current breakfast menu timeframe. In other words could you get a Big Mac at 6:30 am?

I don’t care much about McDonald’s, but the Chicken Biscuit at Chick-fil-A should be an all day option.

Agreed. Love the sausage, not a fan or the one with Canadian bacon.

If they weren’t full of calories, cholesterol and other things I’d have it more than once a month.

Ditto. And my stomach doesn’t wake up until 10am so when I do want to hit MickeyD’s, I’m always pressed to get there before the breakfast menu disappears.

So this is really good news for me, tho I only eat breakfast there once a week - or less.......

Love their Bacon, Egg & Cheese biscuit w/OJ, or their best-bang-for-the-buck Big Breakfast w/o hotcakes.....
