IRVING — Ahmed Mohamed — who makes his own radios and repairs his own go-kart — hoped to impress his teachers when he brought a homemade clock to MacArthur High on Monday.

Instead, the school phoned police about Ahmed’s circuit-stuffed pencil case.

Another muzzie jihadist yute testing the waters. Irving (once the home of Texas Stadium) used to be a nice suburb of Dallas. It's now heavily M&M -- Mexican and mooselimb.

Oh come on. I remember being a kid and thinking I owned the world as a supergenius because I replaced a capacitor.

Geronl -- You're in Irving right? I thought this would interest you.

According to the lying Dallas Morning News, which is trying to spin this sympathetically for the muzzie, the kid's been suspended for 3 days. That's all? The whole family needs to be deported! Better yet, just fly all the mooselimbs out of our country.

To show you how stupid this muzzie yute is, consider this quote from the article:

“Here in high school, none of the teachers know what I can do,” Ahmed said, fiddling with a cable while a soldering iron dangled from the shelf behind him.

Yeah, real bright there boy genius -- let a red hot soldering iron just dangle from a shelf.

DEPORT! DEPORT! DEPORT!

Who says its on? Its a descriptive setting. The iron is dangling. Is it on?

The article states he was fiddling with a cable. It’s not much of a logical leap that the cable referenced was being positioned for soldering. That aside, a soldering iron should never be dangling in the first place. When not in use, the proper place is in its soldering station.

What if he is just a kid who really does like to tinker with electronics.

I seem to recall something called due process........

You sound like an idiot. Didn’t you ever build things when you were a kid? I did.

So if I’m reseating an IDE cable, I’m fiddling and soldering?

Plus I lost the little stand an iron once had and did let it dangle, I knew the length of cable. Safer than setting it on a desk.

Dude, you’re almost the stereotypical parody jerks like Colbert and Liebowitz like to rail against when they bring up conservatives. Way to to confirm it.

Yup, sure did. Heathkits, Lafayette, Knight and Olson got plenty of my paper route money. I still have one of my earlier projects from over 50 years ago, a 5-tube superheterodyne radio. The tubes are increasingly hard to come by but it still works!

Unlike the muzzie yute, I never built anything that could be mistaken for a bomb.

Uh... we’re talking about a public school. The very same public schools that expel children for pointing fingers, chewing poptarts, or saying “bang bang” with chicken nuggets.

Stop being a retard.

Are you suggesting that the school was in the wrong for being suspicious of the yute? I think their actions were prudent and properly cautious. The idiot kid had the gall to do this just days after the 9/11 anniversary. He should have known better.

As for being a jerk, so be it because I'm 100% for racial profiling. It's effective and has a track record of working. I applaud the Irving ISD for their vigilance.

That’s only because you couldnt fit a bunch of tubes and a transformer into your pencil case. I built lots of timers and other fun digital circuits, and squeezed them into any small package I could make work. I even concealed an SMT miniature LED display in a pair of Ray-Bans.

You are just discriminating against a kid whom likes to tinker with electronics. It’s not right. Save your venom for the real bad apples.

You can applaud the Irving ISD if you like—I think they are idiots, and whichever moron teacher is stupid enough to think this is a threat should be summarily fired and banned from teaching for life. GOD FORBID a student have intellectual curiosity...oh, wait—it IS a public school, after all...

I think my discriminating is on target in this case. Did you read this part of the article?

Ahmed’s father, Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, who immigrated from Sudan [...] He once made national headlines for debating a Florida pastor who burned a Quran.

This is a mooselimb family worthy of suspicion and extra caution. Please be honest, if a kid looking like this guy came into your classroom with a homemade device that looked like a bomb, how would you react given the anti-American agenda of islam?

One of the comments (following the article) nails it in my opinion:

Look how else it could have turned out. Headlines - Ten student dead fifteen injured. Earlier that day classmate who set off bomb had claimed Bomb was a clock. Teacher believed him. --- Better to be safe than sorry.

I realize that both of you may still disagree but given the terrorist threat posed by islamists, yes, it's better to be safe than sorry.

We have had more than our share of murders and acts of violence here in Texas committed by mooselimbs, so perhaps you'll understand why they get not an iota of tolerance from me.

At least until they refer some kid to the police for bringing in an old cap gun for show and tell.

Sometimes, a clock is just a clock.

Sometimes, a clock is just a clock.

Indeed that is generally the case. But in these times with a device featuring an LED display and accompanied by a muzzie, to me that clock appears to be far more than a clock. Your FReep name, Tolerance Sucks Rocks, is one I've long admired and taken to heart. And frankly, I'm totally intolerant of muzzies. I don't trust any of them one bit since they're all well schooled in the cunning craftiness of taqiyya.
