General Motors says it will sell in the United States next year a vehicle made in China, becoming the first major US automaker to do so.

Every automaker has set up Chinese manufacturing, because China (completely) protects Chinese manufacturing.
So what do they do? They send manufacturing there, and SEND THE VEHICLES BACK TO AMERICA.
This is wrong.
Completely wrong. GM sucks.

It really doesn’t matter to me, personally. I was done with GM the moment they allowed Obama to screw premium bond holders out of their investment and turned the company over to a Union. They couldn’t make the car I’d want to buy from them, ever.
GM Government Motors. With the Comrade running the government, of course the government will back GM bringing China-made cars in the US.
How come Walmart doesn’t stock these cars made in Chyyyynaaaa?

Our trade deficit with mainland China is massive, and it continues to soar, every single year.
This year, it is poised for (yet another) record total.
It is painful, to see America, so completely sold out.
Bring back American industry.
That new car smell from China made cars will be the aroma of ‘essence of formaldehyde’.
Actually, the GM cars in China are very popular in China because they are higher quality and more comfortable than the indigenous brands.
Buicks made in Shanghai are really nice cars
More impotently they are not made by the UAW.
Just the last fact alone means I’d think about buying one. Anything that leads to the death of the UAW is a good thing

I lived in China for many years. The society there is basically as free as the US.
