Sarah Palin is slamming daughter Bristol's former fiance after he filed court papers involving the couple's daughter Sailor. Dakota Meyer filed papers seeking joint legal and physical custody of Sailor Grace, who was born on December 23 in Alaska.
In the court documents filed by Meyer which were obtained by TMZ he is also asking for one other thing from Bristol - child support. Sarah responded by telling Entertainment Tonight in a statement; 'For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Myers [sic] and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol's pregnancy or the baby.'
She then said that Meyer is just trying to 'save face'. Bristol's rep also released a statement, saying: 'My values are such that a real American hero doesn't ask for child support.'Â

Well, he was a MoH recipient after all. My guess is she caught him cheating right before their wedding.
Planning to get pregnant before the wedding takes place isn’t a real bright move, either.
A grown man asking for child support from a single mom? I don’t care how rich or famous she is, for Gods sake be a man and support your own kid.

No one is the good guy in this story. This is just a typical trailer trash fight over child support. The twist is that it involves a MOH recipient on one side and millionaires on the other. You can’t take the moral high road when your daughter is an unwed slut or when you fathered a baby and didn’t marry the mother.
I feel sorry for the baby.

My thought is Bristol is the attention seeker and will do whatever it takes.
Personally, she has hurt her image and her ‘testimony’ greatly.
Many young girls, no doubt, thought they had a role model when she first wrote her ‘mea culpa’ book.....after she took responsibility for getting pregnant while unwed......the first time,
Now I see her, unfortunately, in a whole different light.
She sure seems to want to stick it to Sarah.....sad.
I think Sarah needs to practice ‘ tough love’ and not enable her daughter’s flights of fancy.

The ring was on, that is far better than what is considered the norm these days.
So long as it was on before she got pregnant I am willing to give a girl who wants the child a pass. I grew up with many kids who were born 7-8 months after their parents wedding, she has made no secret of wanting a husband and a house full of kids and Dakota knew that when he proposed.
I don’t know why Sarah would be publicly involved in this.
Bristol is an adult woman who should handle her own business.
It’s illegal for a man to marry two women in America.
That said, the baby is the one who will suffer the most for the next eighteen years of squabbling.
He was married when he was engaged to Bristol and she was pregnant?
Bristol needs to get a firm grip on birth control, or keep her legs closed and none of this would be an issue.
