Ted Cruz on what the Iowa victory means to him (and how absolutely EVIL Washington has become)
YouTube ^ | February 2, 2016

"They would rather Hillary Clinton, they would rather bankrupt our kids and grandkids, they'd rather lose the Supreme Court for a generation, they'd rather see our religious liberties stripped away, our Second Amendment taken away, they would rather see Islamic terrorism continue to rise and Israel continue to be under assault than actually have a true Reagan conservative in the White House who believes what he says. That shows just how messed up Washington is, but it also shows why frustration is volcanic."...

Certainly a cut above one certain rich, pompous, childish windbag.

Yeah, that’s it. Ted Cruz’s 97%-100% pro-liberty/conservative voting record is all just one big elaborate hoax.

Ppplllleeeaaaassseee. Other campaigns heard the same news report, came to the same conclusion as Cruz’s staffers, and acted upon the information the exact same way. And yet we don’t hear a word about them. Indeed, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that Trump staffers did the exact same thing. Wouldn’t that be funny!!!!

I think you’re on to something. I was a big Cruz fan BEFORE he started running for POTUS. I saw the NBC thing a problem, but now ‘familiarity has bred contempt’ as they say. Since IOWA, he’s lost me entirely for a number of reasons.

Exactly.

The Uniparty HATES actual conservatism. Conservatism is DEATH TO THE UNIPARTY!

Go CRUZ!

I’m pretty sure Reagan didn’t lie, cheat and steal to win the nomination.

That kind of rhetoric is why he will lose. Dumb idea trashing the ones he needs to get elected. And if you don’t think he needs other republicans to get elected you are as dumb as he is.

That is one of the reasons why Ted Cruz reminds me of Ronald Reagan! He is honest, he is courageous, he is optimistic, he sticks to his conservative principles, he wants to go on offense against the left and the GOPe, and he does what he says he’s going to do.

Ted Cruz 2016!

You are gagging on true Tea Party conservatism—just like the Washington Cartel Ted Cruz is fighting against.

I’m sure you’re REALLY concerned about Dr. Carson. If you all are so OBSESSED with Carson, where were you when Trump was slandering him?

Never heard Carson call himself a “child molester”...that’s news.

Evil Cruz donors

Your list totals all of 2 1/2 million, or a tiny fraction of the total that Cruz has actually raised . . . not enough to be beholden.

`Cruz is going to clean up Washington’
Yeah, that’s funny stuff.
He’s been in-and-out of DC with legal business for years, and in recent years as a senator—thanks in large part to now `evil’ Sarah Palin: so what’s this `outsider’ business?
Inside the Beltway is his stomping ground ... but now he’s an outsider who wants to clean up Washington. OK.
They all say that, particularly the scoundrels: Ah’m the Man From Hope; yeah, `Hope and Change’.
Maybe one of his resident Brownshirts can rent a Tyme Mashine, go back to 1787 and lobby the framers to take just two words out of the Constitution’s Article 2: “natural born”.
That’s the only way this foreign born candidate—who is not just a lawyer but an expert on Constitutional law, like Obama—will qualify to sit in the Oval Office.
Oh yeah, he is also held out as a “Constitutional originalist”. He’s argued before the SCOTUS, right?
But he waited until he filed for only one of the two jobs in the country that he’s not eligible to hold to renounce his Canadian citizenship. Perhaps more importantly, it’s not clear that he ever applied for American citizenship, so he’s another cipher, an `International Man of Mystery’? He could possibly not even be an American citizen.
(Oh my. Listen to the teeth grinding!)
Did his mother renounce her American citizenship? Hard to say. His mother’s citizenship records are sealed.
Papa Cruz was a Cuban who fought for Castro? (Did Ted write a book too, `Suenos A Mi Papa’?) Gee, this all sounds so familiar, all the parallels ...

Maybe this is why the framers made this issue clear with just the two words `natural born’. They probably figured, “Our progeny can’t be that stupid that we have to spell it out for them. But Ted’s Dreamers see the problemo, eh? So they throw page-after-page of obiter dictum on the walls of these hallowed halls, hoping something will stick, trying for, uh, transparency thumbing their noses at American common sense and the principle of parsimony.
First we had the Democrats’ promise of the most ethical administration .. then they assured us they would be the most transparent ... in cleaning up Washington will Cruz’s next assurances be a combination of both?

Why is he wasting everyone’s time? And he’s wasting his donors’ money as well running for an office he isn’t eligible to hold.
He knows better. No one with a scrap of respect for the law—that is, any remaining after Obama, maybe that’s why so many freepers are winking at him?—will help yet another `outsider’ (another bull****er—from a place called Hope, with`hope & change’).
Cruz cannot plead ignorance in ignoring the highest law of the land, his being yet another effort at usurpation of the highest office, a candidacy built upon chicanery, contempt for the electorate, dishonesty and fraud.
