If you miss voting in one area, when you insert your ballot into the ballot counting machine it beeps incessantly and displays that you did not vote in one race. Do you want to get your ballot back and check it again?

At this point, you have to click yes or no. If you push yes that you want to check it, you get your ballot back to correct. If you push no, then the machine takes your ballot and counts it, as is.

It’s really very easy.

would assume if you live in Ohio you know about this or people talk about it every four years.

I always vote and have never seen or heard of this. Gotta be an inaccurate story. I'd remember voting "twice" and I read my ballot very carefully.

Strange. I guess the story must be accurate. Never recall doing this. I’m pulling for Rocky De La Fuente in the Democrat primary.

Headline writers drumming up ratings artificially, as always.

One vote for is for Delegates-at-Large and Alternates-at-Large to the National Convention. The second vote is for District Delegate and District Alternate to the National Convention for the ___ Congressional District.

This is the way it has been done for years, this is nothing new.

Ok. Let’s not blame Kasich here. Elections are run exclusively by the duly elected Secretary of State - John Husted (R)

Technically, we Ohioans are not voting for the candidate. We are voting for the delegates that will go to the convention on our behalf and cast their ballot for the candidate they represent.

It’s been like this in the Primary for YEARS! The General Election ballot is only once.

Suppose so. I always vote in the primaries. Must just have never been a big deal.

We do this every four years. Don’t worry, we got this!

It does bring up the glaringly apparent problem that even most of those who imagine themselves activists don’t take part in the local party except for primaries. That means there’s no firsthand understanding of the process and a vulnerability to conspiracy theories and other nonsense.

Combine that with the recent crop noobs and members with old sign up dates yet dead posting histories. The breaking news that’s not, and the questionable sources, are really bringing FR down.
