Were Trump voters in primaries told, "it's only for the first vote" at the convention?
Self---rare vanity | April 12, 2016 | Self - rare vanity

1. At the primary polling locations in each state, were the voters clearly informed that their vote for their candidate was for the FIRST VOTE AT THE CONVENTION only, and that if their candidate did not get 1237 delegates, their vote would be basically tossed and have no influence?

2. When we are told Cruz had the ground game, left people behind in the states after the primary, worked the rules, worked the system, worked the delegates in the way that everyone has always known it's done in the primaries... Cruz's people convinced Trump delegates to vote for Cruz when they were unbound, like in the second vote, if no one got a majority in the first vote...

What does that mean? No one MENTIONS, exactly HOW do you get this delegate to do what you ask? You TALKED him into it with your powerful skills of persuasion or with the rock solid character of Cruz?

No---what this means is, Cruz's people who stayed behind and CONVERTED Trump delegates to CRUZ delegates BRIBED, ARM-TWISTED, THREATENED or BLACKMAILED these delegates to switch.

THAT is the way its done that Trump was supposedly too dumb to know and to leave behind the operatives in each state AFTER the primary to take care of this "working with the delegates."

Cruz supporters have absolutely no morals. The end justifies the means. They are PROUD that the Cruz people successfully bribed or coerced the delegates in these states to betray the VOTER, who voted in good faith for TRUMP, without the caveat that---oh, it's just good for the FIRST vote---after that your vote doesn't matter...Did none of these Cruz people have PARENTS that taught them right? Are they willing to go before their Maker and say, "We were just playing by the 'rules'".

First off, not all states are bound to only the first vote. For example, Florida delegates are bound for three votes.

This sounds like the ranting of, well, a democrat from Democrats Underground. Do you really believe that Trump delegates would stand for any type of strong-arm tactics without raising bloody hell in the media. These are not a bunch of wall flower types easily intimidated. Keep this crap up even when unauthenticated is a sure path for Hillary. Which I suspect is your endgame.

Cruz lost me when he blamed Trump for the violence at his rallies. That said, the “Lamentations of Trump’s Women” has been an incredible sight to behold.

We elected/selected delegates to the state convention. Those elected/selected at the state convention are then national convention delegates.

Bribery is a pretty strong accusation. I would hold that back a bit until you had some kind of proof or verification. Otherwise, you will be guilty of bearing false witness, which would not be good for your own soul. I refer you to 2 Timothy 4:3. It sounds like ticklish ears to me. If you detest Cruz so much, why don’t you itemize the differences between he and Trump. That might actually be a way to convince people to your convictions..

Since the GOP establishment does not have “their” nominee, we are witnessing just how screwed up and corrupt the process is. The have it set up so that the fix is in, no matter who the people vote for. It’s just we haven’t witnessed how corrupt the process is because the establishment normally gets who they want.

And it’s just not on our side of the aisle, the demoncrat party is set up the same way. It’s set up for who the elites or establishment wants.

If people here would really think about this, this is how elections are done in communist countries. You get the elitist’s candidates and people THINK they have a choice. The problem is, it is NOT a choice, just continued tyranny because the Politburo is still in control.

Americans and especially some of you Freepers here supporting these tactics under the guise of supporting Cruz, need to wake the heck up. Donald Trump is the only true outsider that the Politburo fears because they have no control over him since he is owned by no one.

So you believe that Rump supporters are easily bought off. Maybe if they are that contemptible as you seem to think it would be better if they did not participate at all. Seems this kind of politics is more in keeping with democrats.

Are you going to tell Trump that his delegates are crooked and contemptible and easily bought off.

"I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald," she said in the statement today. "The story is totally without merit. Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised 3 children that we love and are very proud of."

YOU NEED TO RETRACT YOUR FALSE ACCUSATION!

In some or even many states the state GOP leaders determine who the actual delegates will be at the convention, the candidates do not pick them.

The gratuitous attacks on Cruz are not helpful.

Is there anyone who believes bribes were offered and there was not a single Trump delegate who recorded the offer? Not once? No, it wasn’t bribes. By tradition, delegates are courted with meetings. The meetings may be over an elegant dinner or even in a nice resort, but they do not include bribes - specifically to avoid the scandal that would follow being rejected and then outed. I’ve recommended that Trump do that to court delegates, both to keep his own delegates loyal and to attract uncommitted delegates.

Who benefits from the Trump-Cruz wars, of which this post is a part? Hillary, Bernie, Jeb, Rubio, Kasich, and others who consistently support Amnesty, who consistently support Obamacare, and who consistently support restrictions on our individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms. Decent Americans are better off with a real truce, and not just a “I’ll stop when every person who even pretends to support the other side stops” gesture toward a truce that will never happen.

The “Slick Teddy” and “Whining Trump” nonsense is not helping us to elect the best possible conservative in November. I want 99% or more of Cruz supporters to vote Trump, when he is nominated, even if they hold their noses. In the event that Cruz wins the nomination, I want 99% or more of Trump supporters to vote Cruz, even if they hold their noses. Offending the other side does not encourage them to vote Trump (or Cruz) in November. I cannot help wondering how many of those who stir up the Trump-Cruz wars are actually paid trolls taking Jeb/Hillary/Soros money to cause trouble - not all of them but probably enough to set the toxic tone.

I stand by my recurring statement:

Cruz and Trump are both imperfect but they agree far more than 80% of the time (see my tagline from Ronald Reagan). They should be friends and allies, and we should treat both of them as such.

Games have rules. If you don’t know the rules of the game you are playing, you may be surprised by what happens.

But yeah, Trump will do great negotiating trade deals. Those are so much less complex than the Republican primary system that you can read on dozens of websites exactly how it works in about an hour. Maybe if he didn’t hire a thug who beats up women reporters to run his campaign he wouldn’t be in this mess?

What a moron. Sad.

You’re kinda ‘tarded.

You’re also admitting that you Trumptards are so ignorant of basic American civics and political party convention rules that have existed for over 150 years that you need your intellectual betters in the Cruz campaign to slowly explain them to you.

Thank you, Gato.

This election is about one thing:

GLOBALISM vs. PATRIOTISM.

Globalism versus SOVEREIGNTY

(notice one of the globalists got all stirred up on this thread---don't challenged their no sovereignty, no-borders, open immigration, TPA, TPP, amnesty, Crony Capitalist, etc. They get silly. Tools of the Washington Cartel Oligarchy. God help us.)

These people are so damn determined to get Ted and Heidi's NORTH AMERICAN UNION. "O Canada"!! Ted's being Cuban/Canadian, with no attachment or allegiance to the USA, will work just fine with Heidi's Council on Foreign Relations NORTH AMERICAN UNION.
