Granted that pre 9/11 and the Boston Marathon Bombing that could or would be the case however we are in an era where police need to think like a terrorist or at least be extra vigilant in regards to our soft targets.

As tunnels go - its pretty ugly and negates the magic hour to photograph sunrise and sunset. However - it does run under Boston Harbor and a collapse from a blast would kill hundreds.In addition - it's named after a local Bostonian who was killed in WWII - the type of symbolism that these Muzzies like to make news with.

All in all - I'm glad they're looking at the guy and his phone.

I'm familiar with the Callahan tunnel in Boston. It's an old, dirty tunnel that was built in the 1930s. Drove through it every day for years when I used to live and work up there. Never saw a pedestrian venture in there - ever.
