Thanks. Ten Year.
Had my first at age 50 where they found one small Polyp.
Had to go back two years later when my Blood Tests showed I was Anemic. That Colonoscopy came out fine, so after further Testing including a Bone Marrow Biopsy I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
After Ten Years of on and off Chemotherapy, I am currently in Remission for that. Turns out they now have three Oral Medications that can treat it if it comes back, or so I’ve been told.
Unfortunately I also contracted MDS - Myelodysplastic Syndrome, another form of Leukemia. Apparently my Oncologist was having a BOGO Sale. So far so good with that. Time will tell, but it isn’t going away.
Such is Life. I’m the luckiest guy walking, so far.
The headline drew me in.
I considered having the deli make my sub with pickled eggs, but I worked with people I considered friends, so no go. Those things are nasty.
In a related story, the bar will stop its Taco Tuesday promotion...
Sorry to hear of your additional problem. I was lamenting my five year repeat visit with the colonoscopy due to polyp removal.
Every day is a blessing!
