Leaving the subject aside, this is excellent photography.
Oh my goodness. Bermuda shorts, hoop petticoats, the bunny hop and memories of really fun times. Thanks for the memories.
Great photos. Any photo featuring a ‘57 Chevy gets a great rating by default.
Such a different time. The clean haircuts. The dresses and tuxes for the prom.
So different.
A great nation full of hope & happiness & self-respect....take a look around these days & it’s like we have entered The Twilight Zone.
And less than a decade later, all that good clean fun was gone, replaced by hippies, LSD, pot, & the Pill.

I had a Plymouth similar to the one pictured. Chrysler claimed to have skipped two years of planned designs and introduced the 1958 models with advertising that said, “Suddenly, it’s 1960!” I was just a couple years behind the kids in these photos, so the scenario brings back lots of memories.
It brings tears to my eyes. “Those were” the last days of innocence. I remember them well.
Hmmm ! Is that Buddy Holly in the top pic. :-)
.
“Oo-ee-oo I look just like Buddy Holly Oh-oh, and you’re Mary Tyler Moore....”

.
Hard to believe; the “kids” in those photos are now in their mid-70s, and many are no longer with us.
An America that used to be and will probably never be again.
Proud Alum of Mariemont High Class of 1981. I know some of the folks in those pics as two of them became teachers at Mariemont and others were parents of classmates.
Odd how old photos make young people look so adult. Nowadays, they just look like perpetual twerps.
