You did not answer my questions-which is typical of today's mentality as everyone wants to get their points "out there."
The Supreme Court unanimously voted she could be prosecuted. Have you read the decision?
There is no case law concerning conspiracy over suicide, but conspiring to commit homicide would the statute I would stand on. Suicide is a form of homicide, and even though it is not an illegal form of homicide, conspiring would be the crime.
And that is without the prosecution being able to show diminished mental capacity of the victim and the conspirator having undue influence of his actions, which the prosecutor believes he has the ability to do. That is why she is being charged with manslaughter.
Well, she’ll do some time in the cooler for it now. She just got convicted. Maybe it’ll set her mind right. I really doubt it though.
She won’t change, she’s the sociopath that some on this thread have guessed her to be.
At one point the boy got out of the car and told her he was scared. She told him to get back in the car, which he did.(it was a carbon monoxide suicide for those unfamiliar with how he died).
So she could have told him to stay out of the car. She could have notified the police that he was trying to kill himself. Instead she goaded him to finish it.
