My son is doing the Atkins. Went from 360 to 345 in about 2 weeks. That is impressive.
It’s weird... I did low-carb and went from 145 to 120, but then I couldn’t get any lower. I switched to vegan and went to 115. I dunno.

The problem with Atkins is that you burn an equal amount of lean tissue as you do fat. I had a former employee that was a semi-pro football tight end and he used Atkins to loose his large muscle mass since he couldn’t maintain it once he stopped playing.
A better low carb diet is Ideal Protein. It maintains a certain level of protein with limited carbs but still has you eating 4 cups of vegetables a day. I lost 65 pounds in 6 months on that. It’s an easy diet as long as you stay away from the BLTs (bites, licks, tastes of things not on the diet -”oh, I’ll just have a bit”).
Easiest way to lose weight there is.
15 lbs. is great... just don’t touch the Atkins brand of foods... Dr. Atkins would roll over in his grave if he saw those with his name on them.... also... don’t reintroduce the carbs. Atkins came close to the answer.
At that enormous weight losing 15 pounds in two weeks is not hard.
