Three Florida men who were planning to travel to Syria to join ISIS are now facing federal charges of conspiring and attempting to support the Islamic State.
The Palm Beach County men’s plot to travel to Syria to engage in “violent jihad” was thwarted, federal authorities said Friday.

We have a very bad mosque here in Tampa. The St Petersberg Times - now the Tampa Tribune - has been running cover for them for years.
Not that it could have anything to do with shooting up nightclubs and restaurants, driving trucks into crowds and detonating them, detonating bombs at the Boston marathon or killing 3,000 people in the Twin Towers episode. Not at all.

What I want to know is who’s funding their little overseas excursions. Kids that age don’t typically have a pot to piss in

When they say garbage like that, leftists actually believe it. It never occurs to them these people are just saying that, because they are very, very angry, and if the people on the range were saying, “Let’s go get some ribs”, the muslims would think “Ribs! They are talking about pork! That’s anti-muslim! They hate us! Let’s kill them!”
Leftists have somehow twisted their American thinking to assume Americans should censor their words all the time. They don’t realize the unique and special thing about this country is THIS IS ONLY PLACE IN THE WORLD you can SAY WHAT YOU WISH and that is OUR UNIQUE FREEDOM.
We come from places and countries where people had to HIDE and sneak and pretend to be what they weren’t because it was UN PC to be things. The Pilgrims had to leave England because they had a NEWSPAPER and said the WRONG PRAYERS.
Young people are having this basic realization undermined with new leftist inventions:
1 - Hate crimes
2 - Anti bullying laws
3 - Separation of Church and State
They all sound great on the surface but they are all being enforced in ways that tell people you cannot say things.

ISIS would be proud of the Imam of the Fort Walton Beach mosque. Worshippers are provided numerous booklets, manuals, brochures, DVD’s and 500 plus page books promoting an Islamic caliphate worldwide and under Shariah law. The books go into detail about physical Jihad being conducted throughout the world. The Imam gave me a few pieces of material for me to better understand ‘Pure Islam’. Much of the material was published in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Again, ISIS would feel very comfortable praying in this mosque with an Imam who thinks as they do.
There's a lot of volunteers out there that are watching the mosques and noting which ones are radical or not that pass on their info to LEOs. That really helps. Citizens can contribute a lot more than they think they can by just being the eyes and ears of America. As long as they don't put themselves in harm's way by being confrontational or escalating tensions it's helpful. Even though we know what their end game is we have to stay within the lines to keep it legal. Evidence obtained illegally is counter-productive as it falls under the fruit of the poisoned tree doctrine and can't be used (like breaking into a mosque late at night and finding weapons will land you in the slammer; see them entering or exiting the mosque with Class III weapons in publicly accessible space and it's good). Volunteers that are former military and LEOs are especially helpful because of their training and familiarity with constitutional law. I know part of it is preaching to the choir...: )

I believe you are referring to the Islamic Da’wah Center of Fort Walton Beach, 6 Hollywood Blvd SW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548, right.
This mosque has come to my attention several times in the last two years as being a high level threat. I do know that some time back that some people took a stand against sharia law and posted it online. The server that hosted those posts received a huge amount of hits, many coming from the Fort Walton Beach area. After reviewing them I believed they were most likely members of that mosque and they just didn’t view it once. There were many hits from the same IP address over and over again. I imagine if a subpoena we to be served to the ISP on that particular IP address it would be from either their imam or another high level member.
That’s the one. I had no idea it was there. We drove past it several times when we were down there last summer after Dad passed away and had no clue it was there.
I looked it up on Google maps last night and discovered it’s basically hidden. In the back part of a building with other businesses in it and it isn’t marked very well. Just a couple of small signs that I couldn’t read on the site.
No wonder, after reading about it.
I’ve never liked the idea of muslims serving in our military and this makes me like it even less. IMHO, those attending that mosque need to be dishonorably discharged. Then lock ‘em up somewhere. No telling what they’ve gleaned from their military service that they’d love to use against us. Since they follow that imam, they’re up to no good.

I grew up and lived in the inner city for 46 years. The brothers are being converted in jail and convert others when out. If they only knew it was the muzzies that enslaved them and are still doing it today
They’ll never be convinced of the truth. To them, that’s most likely something “whitey” made up.
But whether born into it or converted, I don’t want them in our military.
