All he needs is an adventurous female to be a surrogate mother, says a scientist at Harvard Medical School, and hes off to the races on a plan to resurrect the extinct Neanderthals.
He thinks he has enough Neanderthal DNA that he can reconstruct the whole DNA strand. Would that mean filling the little gaps with, say, frog DNA? It worked in Jurassic Park.
Professor George Church of Harvard Medical School believes he can reconstruct Neanderthal DNA and resurrect the species which became extinct 33,000 years ago.
His scheme is reminiscent of Jurassic Park but, while in the film dinosaurs were created in a laboratory, Professor Churchs ambitious plan requires a human volunteer.
He said his analysis of Neanderthal genetic code using samples from bones is complete enough to reconstruct their DNA. Youd think it would bewell, cruelto bring to life a being who would be the only one of his kind in all the world. Like, whats the poor Neanderthal supposed to do, after they get done experimenting on him? If they ever get done. If hes ever permitted to have a life of his own, it that were even possible.
So why do this? The prefesser explains:
When the time comes to deal with
getting off the planet, its conceivable that their [Neanderthals] way of thinking could be beneficial.

No thanks. We have enough already.
They’re all in Philadelphia right now. You don’t have to bring them back. They find their way back home once the free stuff runs out.
Neanderthals never existed.
I thought Obama was importing them already.
I think he already has, they are all in Philadelphia this week.
True, I have to deal with one everyday.
Ummmm... They are already have a convention in Philly...
All he needs is an adventurous female to be a surrogate mother...
First they need to produce a cute cartoon explaining it.
Many of my Ex GFs would say they’re already here.
This proposal is old, and Church rejected it!
Meanwhile, we part-Neanderthals have been doing very well on this planet, until very recently!
Great tagline u got there my FRiend! lol
Wait, forgot that date. Was it exactly 33,000 years and how was that figure arrived at? All those false premesis, nonsense.
Preferably one without the physique of a 12 year old boy.
