The political-media establishment has provided more than a few tempting targets to push back on in the past 48 hours, but nothing rankles me more than the sudden nostalgia liberal Democrats are heaping on Mitt Romney. Trump has inspired some sort of Romney renaissance among the left, openly telling Republicans and the media how much they admired and respected the last Republican candidate; that he was at least fit to lead!
As an operative who worked on Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, I can tell you that this hilariously bogus argument from the left lacks even a modicum of self-awareness. Yet this morning, President Obama himself blew some more hot air into its sails:

Democrats and MSM types love to prop up the weakest RINOs when it is useful. Of course they loathe Romney and mean him only ill, but if he can be useful in this political season they will pretend for a short time that they don’t totally despise him. Romney and his ilk are gullible enough to lap up the attention like abused puppies....
I bet they almost regret screwing old Mittens over with a fraudulent election!
Romney and his sidekick didn’t seem to mind how easily they let Obama-Biden get the best of them in 2012.

Evil Mitt stood down, anytime he was close to catching up he would take a step back to be sure to fall behind again,
Romney and Ryan we’re both seen for what they really are: establishment phony political hacks, and no one got excited about them, its questionable if they even voted for themselves in 2012, they were appointed to politely lose to the designated NWO globalist candidate.
Even less people are excited about Hillary this time out, so there’s a real danger for her in losing to Trump, but she has the entire establishment/MSM/NWO globalist crowd backing her and that wont be easy for Trump to overcome, its practically a miracle that hes gotten this far,
