People actually eat chicken raw, intentionally? Steak tartare I can understand, but raw or even undercooked chicken does not have an appealing texture or flavor.

Who eats raw chicken?

Q: What do you get when you cross a chicken with a Rottweiler?

A: Just a Rottweiler.

Not exactly. Swai is farmed in Vietnam, Tilapia in the USA. Both are inferior fish, in terms of feed and nutritional value, apart from the growing aspects. That has to include Atlantic salmon, also farm raised and not nearly as nutritious as the wild species. Atlantic salmon is raised in Canada and Chili to name just two countries. The color is added as the fish do not receive their natural diet so the fish have to be “colored up." So much for that. Wild fish is better in almost every instance. Blue fin tuna are currently being raised commercially in Japan, a noble effort which will put less pressure on wild stocks. Every fish and their requirements are different.

Yes:

The photo was taken at the Ippuku Japanese restaurant in Berkeley, California. Here's an article about their raw chicken:

My cat find it irresistible and will almost crawl up my leg to get at it when I'm slicing chicken breasts for stir-fry.

The Fleshy Viruses need to be taught basic Chicken cooking hygiene, again.
It must be about Ten years since the last Chicken scandal, time for another one.

It’s not the eating part that will get you. Someone has to handle the raw chicken to cook it. This contaminates counter tops, knives, cookware, possible the floor for all the little tykes to run around on barefoot, and the cooks hands.

I once saw a video of how tilapia are raised in chinese fish farms. They feed the fish chicken poop and such.

I only buy wild caught fish from non-Asian countries now.
